Network for Community Planning and Development (NECPAD)

Is a Non-Governmental, non-profit-making organisation and registered with the Registrar General’s Department. The quest to pursue a development agenda with a focus on sustainable community development, poverty alleviation and capacity building issues and to largely promote social justice, gender-equality and general quality of life were the driving force behind the establishment of NECPAD. The NGO was established in June 2002 and registered with the Registrar-General’s Department under the Company’s code of 1963 (Act 179) where it was issued with the Certificate of Incorporation (No. G-14,942) on 22nd February, 2005.
